Discounted Entry Deadline: Online entry forms AND fees must be processed by midnight
CDT September 21, 2018.
Final Entry Deadline: Online entries AND fees must be processed no later than October 15, 2018.
Our Registrar will not be able to consider entries "received" until they receive full payment.
Additional Details
Register for all events in which you may want to dance. There is no added fee for additional competitive
dance events. Adding events at the competition will be limited.
After the final registration deadline, we will not allow competitors to add any event that would
necessitate adding a round (e.g., a semi to become a quarter-final). Competitors desiring to add an event
at the competition must make their request on a Competition Event Change Request Form (included with your
competitor packet; additional copies available at the registration table) and give it to the Registrar no
later than two [2] hours prior to the scheduled start time for the event. Competitors: Please notify the
registrar of any errors or cancellations/scratches as soon as possible; submit scratches on the form
mentioned above.
Each competitor must list his/her USA Dance membership number and expiration date on the entry form.
(Note: You may apply for, renew, or upgrade [to Athlete] your membership online at
www.USADance.org. All memberships must be current prior to registration:
USA Dance rules no longer allow competitors to join or renew memberships at the registration desk at NQEs.
Athletes are required to present their valid USA Dance “Athlete” registration card to the registrar at
every competition in which they wish to compete. WDSF competitors must be registered competitors with the
WDSF and are required to present their WDSF membership card when checking in.
To be eligible for the "Top Club" award, all members must register under the studio, club, or instructor’s name.
Student competitor pass holders must present current student ID(s) in order to pick up their
registration package. When purchasing student or USA Dance member spectator tickets
please be prepared to show your valid student ID or USA Dance membership card(s) at will
call.
Competitors please be aware that some events offered at the Chicago DanceSport Challenge NQE are not
offered at the USA Dance National Championships and will not qualify you for the USA Dance
National Championships. EVENTS THAT WILL NOT QUALIFY A COMPETITOR FOR NATIONALS INCLUDE: ALL
styles and proficiency levels in the SENIOR IV age category; ALL styles, proficiency levels and
age categories offered in MIXED PROFICIENCY; ALL styles, proficiency levels and age categories
offered in TEACHER-STUDENT; ALL styles, proficiency levels and age categories offered in
SAME-SEX; the FORMATION TEAM EVENTS; and the fun JACK AND JILL events and other OPEN TO ALL
SPECTATOR AND COMPETITOR events.
Chicago DanceSport Challenge is going green! In order to reduce waste and streamline costs, Chicago
DanceSport Challenge will only be printing a limited number of souvenir programs. If you wish to have a
